It didn’t start out for me this way.

IA client once shared with me, “Laura, time is linear, and we expect our development to be linear too.” This sentiment deeply resonated with me, as my own journey—like many of yours—has been far from linear. I found my career in psychotherapy during a time when I was also finding myself.

In 2012, I completed my first degree in business. While I initially pursued a corporate path, I quickly realized that my true passion lay in connecting with and helping others. This realization inspired me to embark on a journey of personal and spiritual exploration, where I began learning more about myself and what truly mattered to me.

By 2016, my desire to help others motivated me to begin volunteering and working in the field of addictions. I supported youth and their families as they navigated the challenges of addiction and concurrent disorders, an experience that deepened my understanding of resilience and healing.

In 2019, I took the next step in my journey by enrolling in the School of Counselling, Spirituality & Psychotherapy at Saint Paul University. This education equipped me with the skills to validate, support, and empower others in their healing journeys.

Today, I feel incredibly fortunate to dedicate my time and career to helping others seek self-understanding and healing. As a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #10124) licensed to practice in Ontario, I offer:

  • In-person therapy for clients in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.
  • Virtual therapy (via video or phone) for clients anywhere within Ontario.

Whether you’re seeking to heal, grow, or better understand yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey.
